AI Startup Sintra Secures $2M to Power Proactive Assistant
Emerging from Lithuania’s growing tech ecosystem, Sintra an AI startup focused on workplace automation, has secured $2 million in seed funding to accelerate development of its intelligent assistant platform and expand its engineering team.
The investment was led by Practica Capital, a well known early stage VC in the Baltics, alongside several angel investors with deep expertise in SaaS and artificial intelligence.

Founded in 2024, Sintra is reimagining AI assistants not as reactive bots, but as proactive collaborators that help teams work smarter. Unlike generic virtual assistants, Sintra’s technology is tailored for internal team operations, integrating with tools like Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, and Jira.
Its assistant understands business context, communicates in multiple languages, and is designed to streamline complex knowledge workflows across teams.
