Autonomize AI Secures $28M to Reinvent Healthcare Workflows
Autonomize AI, a Texas based healthtech company pioneering AI-powered workflow automation for hospitals and care providers, has secured $28 million in Series A funding to expand the reach of its intelligent agents across the healthcare landscape.
The funding round was led by Valtruis, Cigna Ventures, and Tau Ventures, with participation from Asset Management Ventures, ATX Venture Partners, and Capital Factory.
This latest investment follows Autonomize AI’s $4M seed round in 2023, reflecting growing momentum in healthcare AI innovation.
Autonomize AI develops autonomous software agents that help healthcare professionals process complex clinical data, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize decision making.
By seamlessly integrating into electronic health record (EHR) systems and existing workflows, the platform enhances both care delivery and administrative efficiency.
“We’re not building AI to replace clinicians we’re building AI to relieve them from the burden of bureaucracy,” said Dr. Yvonne Wassenaar, CEO of Autonomize AI. “This funding allows us to accelerate our roadmap, scale deployments, and build deeper partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem.”
Key Objectives for the New Funding:
- Expand integration of AI agents in hospitals and health networks
- Recruit AI researchers, engineers, and clinical specialists
- Strengthen EHR and digital infrastructure compatibility
- Grow strategic collaborations, leveraging partners like Cigna
Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Austin, Autonomize AI is addressing one of healthcare’s most pressing challenges: doing more with less.
By using intelligent systems to support not replace care providers, the company is positioned at the forefront of the next wave in healthcare transformation.
