Jeff Bezos Fuels Toloka’s AI Growth with $72M

Amsterdam based AI data platform Toloka has completed a $72 million funding round led by Bezos Expeditions, the investment firm of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

The funding aims to accelerate Toloka’s expansion in the U.S. market and strengthen its human-AI integrated data solutions.

Bezos Backs Toloka with $72M Investment

A subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed Nebius Group, Toloka leverages a global network of over 200,000 experts across more than 100 countries to deliver high-quality data services.

The company partners with industry giants such as Amazon, Microsoft, and Anthropic to improve AI model development and evaluation.

In addition to Bezos Expeditions, Shopify’s Chief Technology Officer Mikhail Parakhin also participated in the funding round. Parakhin will join Toloka’s Board of Directors as Executive Chairman.

While Nebius Group retains its shareholder position, it is granting Toloka greater operational independence.

The newly secured funds will be used to scale operations, enhance technological infrastructure, and integrate human expertise with AI to develop reliable and secure AI products.

Toloka also plans to seek further investment to support its growth and innovation goals, aiming to solidify its position as a key player in the AI data solutions sector.
