Ovido Secures $2.7M to Automate Product Compliance with AI
Ovido, an AI powered compliance and product data management startup, has secured $2.7 million in seed funding to simplify regulatory workflows for European manufacturers and brands.
The round was led by Lifeline Ventures and Kvanted, with additional support from Illusian Founder Office and Business Finland.
Launched in 2022, Ovido’s mission is to eliminate the complexity of sustainability and compliance data collection often scattered across outdated tools like PDFs, Excel files, and siloed ERP systems.
The platform uses artificial intelligence to extract and structure compliance documents, automate supplier requests, and generate data formats aligned with upcoming EU Digital Product Passport (DPP) standards.
Starting With Textiles Scaling Across Industries
The startup is initially focused on the textile industry, a sector facing increasing pressure to meet sustainability regulations.
Ovido allows brands and suppliers to streamline communication, reduce manual paperwork, and prepare for DPP implementation.
“Regulatory compliance is evolving fast, and businesses of all sizes need tools to stay ahead. Ovido bridges that gap with smart automation,” said the founding team.
What’s Next for Ovido?
The seed investment will fuel the company’s product development and team expansion, helping Ovido scale beyond textiles into sectors like packaging, chemicals, and consumer goods all facing growing demands for transparency and traceability.
