San Francisco based startup Rosebud has successfully secured $6 million in seed funding to accelerate the growth of its AI driven journaling app designed to foster personal insight and development.
The round was spearheaded by Bessemer Venture Partners, with notable contributions from investors such as Initialized Capital, Fuel Capital, Avenir, and entrepreneur Tim Ferriss.

The app aims to complement traditional therapy by providing consistent, personalized mentorship. Since its launch, Rosebud has seen over 500 million words journaled and 30 million minutes of active user engagement.
The new capital will be used to enhance Rosebud’s proprietary AI memory technology, expand its team, introduce new features, and build partnerships with educational and healthcare organizations.
Available on web, iOS, and Android platforms, Rosebud follows a freemium business model. Premium subscriptions, priced at $12.99 per month, unlock advanced capabilities such as voice interactions and long-term memory recall.
