Tarjama, a leading language technology company headquartered in the UAE, has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round to expand its AI-powered platform, Arabic.AI.
The funding was led by Global Ventures, with key investors including Wamda Capital and TA Ventures. Founded in 2008, Tarjama has transformed from a traditional translation service into an AI driven innovator, delivering advanced language solutions across more than 50 languages and 22 Arabic dialects.
Tarjama Expands Arabic AI Reach with $15M Investment
Its flagship product, Pronoia V2, stands out as a state-of-the-art Arabic-first large language model that surpasses global competitors in accuracy and cultural understanding.
With this investment, Tarjama plans to grow its engineering team, build sovereign infrastructure, and launch an AI Academy to train enterprise and government leaders in the region.
