viAct Secures $7.3M to Reinvent Jobsite Safety with AI

Hong Kong based AI innovator viAct has successfully raised $7.3 million in Series A funding to expand its smart workplace safety platform into the Middle East, North Africa, and European markets.

The round was led by VentureWave Capital, with support from Singtel Innov8, Korea Investment Partners, and The PolyU Entrepreneurship Fund.

Founded in 2016, viAct offers intelligent video analytics tailored for high risk industries such as construction, oil & gas, and manufacturing.

Its platform detects hazards in real time, ensures regulatory compliance, and improves overall site productivity.

Already trusted by more than 200 contractors globally, viAct has helped prevent thousands of potential incidents on job sites.

The new funding will accelerate viAct’s entry into Saudi Arabia and other key MENA markets, while also boosting its presence across Europe.

The company also plans to enhance its AI capabilities and localize its solutions to meet specific environmental and regulatory needs.
