Pesto Team Joins Scale AI to Build Future of AI

In a strategic move to strengthen its global engineering resources, Scale AI has officially onboarded the team behind Pesto Tech, an India based career acceleration platform known for preparing developers for remote roles with top tech companies.
Founded in 2017 by Ayush Jaiswal and Rahul Jaimini, Pesto Tech gained recognition for offering immersive training programs that helped Indian developers land high quality remote jobs, primarily in the U.S. tech ecosystem.
Pesto Developers Now Working on Scale AI’s GenAI Models
The company raised $5 million in seed funding to expand its programs and talent pipeline. With this transition, Scale AI aims to tap into Pesto’s deep experience in sourcing and mentoring engineering talent.
The recruited developers will contribute directly to the training of large scale generative AI models particularly those designed for writing, reviewing, and optimizing code.
This move aligns with Scale AI’s broader strategy of building a distributed network of top-tier engineers to support the increasing demands of AI model development across critical sectors like logistics, defense, healthcare, and finance.
A spokesperson from Scale AI noted: “Bringing in the Pesto team allows us to deepen our reach into global talent markets. Their approach to developer growth and remote readiness fits seamlessly with our mission to build cutting-edge AI systems at scale.”
While the financial terms of the acquisition remain undisclosed, sources indicate that Pesto Tech will no longer operate independently as its team becomes fully integrated into Scale AI’s engineering organization.
